Ruhama was established 25 years ago as a center that works with women affected by prostitution and sex trafficking. There are 13 on staff, including 3 sisters and 40 volunteers, including 10 sisters.
In October, Luna Capalla visited Romania, Albania, Poland and the Czech Republic. Her mission was to explore what the sisters in these countries are doing regarding human trafficking as well as visiting some of our own grantees’ sites.
On Thursday, October 20, I arrived in Bratislava, the national capital of Slovakia. The Danube River flows through downtown and there are several beautiful, historic buildings and churches being restored, after they were left to deteriorate during the communist era.
